Bugs and activity
: Feb. 27, landed a couple of 15-inch Rainbows on a #8 golden stonefly nymph imitation around 1 p.m. in the Leitch Collieries area. Lots of midges on top prompting some trout to rise. Whitefish aplenty. Can still expect action in deeper pools using bead-head nymph patterns . Stonefly nymph imitations, Bead-Head Prince down, and be on the lookout for midge hatches. Vehicles at most access points.
